When experience becomes responsibility – why I am committed to advisory and supervisory board mandates

30 years of entrepreneurship have left their mark. They teach how to recognize opportunities, lead teams, overcome crises—and the importance of making decisions with foresight.

In my professional career, I built a company from scratch, managed it, successfully sold it, and developed it further with a major partner. Today, I use this experience to support other entrepreneurs in their strategic decisions – not as an external consultant in the traditional sense, but as a sparring partner on equal terms .

Why an advisory board or supervisory board?

Many companies are facing enormous challenges: digitalization, electrification, changing markets, regulatory pressure, and the desire for sustainable growth. In such times, it's helpful to have someone on the board who not only thinks from a business perspective, but has also led from a personal perspective—and knows what it feels like to truly be in charge.

I bring this perspective with me: entrepreneurial, strategic, technically adept – and with the will to help shape developments rather than just analyze them.

Trust. Experience. Responsibility.

An advisory board or supervisory board is more than a formal body. It can provide impetus, a safety net for difficult decisions, and a mirror for management—provided the composition is right.

That's exactly where I see my role: as someone who listens, thinks along, speaks plainly – and always keeps the bigger picture in mind.
